We have laid out how to measure for the 4TRANSGENDERS.COM line of bras and breast prostheses (note that for the breast prostheses you will first need to determine your bra and cup size if you don't already know them ).

Measure around your ribs, just below your bust keeping tape snug not tight.
Add 5" to that measurement to get your bra size (if odd number add 1 so if you measured 35 you would order a size 36 bra)

You can double check this number by measuring just above the chest from the center of the breast bone, under your arm to the center of your spine and multiplying that number by 2.

Measure over the fullest part of your bust, keep tape level but don't pull tight.
Take measurement from first step and subtract your bra size and use the difference in the chart below.
